  30. BD Few (if any) changes should be required to re-compile with another 
  31. BD compiler.  Yes, it should be done!  Without the Amiga there would be no 
  32. BD Newtek and probably no Lightwave (I believe Alan and Stuart had an 
  33. BD exclusive contract with NT).  It is true Newtek could survive without the 
  34. BD Amiga now, but what about all those who have committed thousands to the 
  35. BD flyer, toaster, or even several upgrades of Lightwave?  Don't they owe 
  36. BD something to their loyal, paying customers?

  39. You know, I really doubt that...Lightwave might survive, but I don't thin 
  40. kNewTek would.  They have a huge investment in the Toaster/Flyer in 
  41. terms of time, bucks, prestige, and morale - and there simply is no 
  42. better platform for the Flyer than an Amiga, even an out of date one, 
  43. let alone the PowerAmiga which we hope to see before it really is too 
  44. late!

  54. Dust...man, mine never turns off, and I'd buy another one to-morrow iff I 
  55. didn't need more HD space worse  - and never mind those cracks about `if 
  56. it didn't take so long to render you could give it a rest ;)

  58. If I ever really need to, I'll add one of those famous $1K Pentiums, to 
  59. my Amiga as a peripheral, just like I would a Zip drive!
